This Privacy Policy explains how Quickzar ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when restaurants, cafes, and hotels ("Merchants") use our QR ordering platform, and when their customers ("Guests") place orders through it.
From Merchants, we collect account details such as business name, contact email, phone number, and billing information when you sign up for Quickzar.
From Guests, we collect order details (items, table number, order time) and, where provided, a phone number or WhatsApp contact used for order updates and win-back campaigns run by the Merchant.
We do not sell Guest or Merchant data to third parties. Guest contact details collected through a Merchant's QR ordering flow belong to that Merchant and are used only to power features they've enabled, such as WhatsApp win-back campaigns.
We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting and messaging providers), under confidentiality obligations.
We retain account and order data for as long as a Merchant's account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Merchants can request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of their account data at any time by emailing founder@quickzar.in. Guests who wish to stop receiving WhatsApp messages from a Merchant can opt out directly through WhatsApp.
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage Merchants to use strong account passwords and keep their login credentials confidential.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to Merchants by email or through the platform.
